Preparing Tabletop HATS

Tabletop HATS Type 5128-B is delivered with the head separated from the support foot. Before
it can be used, the cables in the support foot (UA-2180) should be fitted to the connectors on the
connector plate inside the neck.
To connect your Tabletop HATS, use the following procedure and refer to the relevant steps in
Fig.2.12
1) Position the support foot on a solid and stable surface, for example, a table.
2) Carefully place the head on the table surface, resting the head on one side. Make sure that the
connector plate inside the neck is facing towards the support foot.
3) Attach the cables to the connectors on the connector plate. Make sure that the labels on the
cables correspond with the text on the connector plate inside the neck.
4) Place the neck in the hole and turn the head 90 degrees in either direction. Make sure that the
marks on the neck and the support foot line up.
