5.3.6 Connect with Handset

One or two handsets can be connected.
Please refer to the attached drawings for the connection.

5.3.7 Connect to Alarm Unit

Both distress alarm panel and distress panel are combined in NAU-100 Alarm Unit. One unit can only be connected
to one radio equipment. Several units may be needed if several VHF and MF/HF are installed.
The alarm unit provides visual and aural indication of any distress alert or alerts received.
NAU-100 alarm unit (optional) can be mounted as table type or flush-type. Please refer to the attached drawings for
the installation and connection.

5.4 MMSI & ATIS ID Setting
When the VHF radio is powered on for the first time, typically during installation, the vessel's MMSI number can
be entered. Hereafter the MMSI number is briefly displayed after powered on. The MMSI is a unique, 9-digit
identifier assigned to own ship. To operate ATIS function of NVR-3000, ATIS ID must be registered also.
Do the following to set own ship's MMSI/ATIS ID.
① Click [MENU] – [DSC] – [MMSI SETTING] on Main screen.
② With [MMSI] /[ATIS ID] selected, the screen shown below appears. Click [MMSI]/[ATIS ID] to enter the
MMSI/ATIS ID. Click OK to confirm the input.
