4 Taking Pictures

Basic Still Image Shooting

In this mode, all you have to do is press the shutter button and let the camera do
everything else.

Set the Camera Mode button to

Aim the camera at the subject.

Press the T or W button to zoom in or out.

4. Press the Shutter button halfway down to activate the auto-focus until
AF LED stops blinking and the white AF Frame turned into green.
The shutter speed and aperture values appear on the LCD monitor.

Press the Shutter button fully down to capture the image.
1. If the Shaking Warning indicator (
the shutter speed is low, and you should place the camera on a tripod
or a steady place before shooting in order to ensure the image quality.
2. In the following conditions, the AF LED will continue to blink and the
AF Frame will remain in red:
• There are several subjects at different distances within the focus
lock area. Recompose the picture by moving the camera slightly.
• There is no color contrast. Recompose the picture with a subject
that contains more color.
• There is insufficient lighting. If possible, increase the lighting in the
surrounding area.
