Installation
1. Unpack the Hive (white sticker) and, if included, the Drone (green) or Extension control
box (yellow).
2. Mount the Hive control box and any Drone or Extension control box on the mesh
base and connect the power and sync cable.
3. Insert batteries in both remotes. Put one remote into pairing mode by pressing
and holding the Pair button on the remote for 3 seconds until the light flashes blue.
(The Pair button is on the back of the remote. You can recognise it by the 'Wi-Fi' symbol.)
4. Then press the Pair button for the Hive control box once. If you hear a short beep first,
then a long beep, the remote is paired and the LED light turns white. (The Pair button
is on the control box. It is the bottom button that is slightly recessed. You can
also recognise it by the 'Wi-Fi' symbol.)
5. To connect a second remote control, press the Pair button on the second remote
control and hold for 3 seconds.
6. Now press the Pair button on the previously paired remote control. If you hear a
short beep then a long beep, the remote is paired and the LED light turns white.
7. Both remote controls are now paired and ready to use.
8. Open the Auping Connect app on your phone and complete the onboarding process.
9.Your Auping Smart Base is ready to go.
