Product Overview
The CrystalLink USB 3.1 extender is a professional and
industrial grade extender, ideally suited for remote
and secure operation at USB3.1 data rates while
simultaneously supporting backward compatibility
with USB1.1 and USB2.0 devices at their respective
data rates. This extender can support a combination
of USB peripherals such as USB3.1 cameras, USB2.0
hard drives and USB1.1 keyboard and mouse over a
single CAT6 cable at distances up to 330ft (100
meters) or 660ft (200m) using multimode fiber.
This high-performance USB 3-2-1 extender is ideal for
locating various USB workstation devices in safe and
secure operating environments, conveniently away
from any hazardous host device location.
Data transmission is point-to-point, using a single
CAT6a/7 UTP/STP solid core cable or multimode fiber
cable with duplex LC type connectors. The connection
of network enabled host devices is another feature of
this high-performance extender that also supports
transparent USB extension, plug-and-play with no
software drivers required and compatibility with all
major operating systems.
