Overtemp-Please wait while the weld-
er cools down.

Remove MIG gun

Remote motor has stalled * Motor tach
is running too slow or is damaged.
Fan error-Either the top fan or the bot-
tom fan is running too slow or is
damaged.

Error
Internal temperature of welder has exceeded the
maximum limit.
MIG gun trigger is engaged on power up.
MIG gun trigger is held during jog for more than
17 feet of wire.
MIG gun trigger is engaged for more than 1 sec-
ond after the arc is broken.
After an overtemp error, the MIG gun trigger is
held after the welder has completed cooling.
MIG gun trigger is engaged while another proc-
ess is selected.
MIG gun trigger leads are shorted together.
The 10-pin trigger is engaged on power up.
Trigger held too long during jog mode. Spool gun
for more than 10 seconds. Push-pull gun for
more than 37 feet of wire.
Trigger is engaged for more than 1 second after
the arc is broken.
After an overtemp error, the trigger is held after
the welder has completed cooling.
Trigger is engaged while another process is

Remedy
Wait for unit to cool down. If the fan is not run-
ning, contact Miller Electric authorized service
location.
Release 4-pin trigger to clear error.
Fix or replace damaged gun.
Release the 10-pin trigger to clear error.
Release the TIG trigger.
Replace with compatible MIG gun.
Disconnect wire drive assembly cable.
Remove short and pull trigger, or wait 30 sec-
onds to clear error.
Contact Miller Electric authorized service
location.
Reduce pressure on the pressure adjust knob.
Clear obstruction or replace gun liner.
Clear obstruction or replace contact tip.
Untangle welding wire.
Contact Miller Electric authorized service
location.
Clear obstruction from fan.
Contact Miller Electric authorized service
location.
