To enter the Setup menu from the Manual
Mode home screen, press Setup.
Once in the Setup menu, rotate the left knob
to find a particular item, and rotate the right
knob to change setting or status.

Press Home to save settings and return to
welding mode.
Items that can be adjusted from this menu
are:
DIG: Controls the amount of additional am-
perage at low voltage conditions. Dig set-
tings range from 0 to 99. Pro-Set references
the default setting. Default setting varies
with electrode type.
Hot Start: Provides more amperage at the
start to ignite the arc and reduce electrode
sticking. Hot start settings range from
277656-C
Disabled to 300%. The default hot start set-
ting is 100%.
Adaptive Hot Start: : Enabling Adaptive
Hot Start optimizes the re-ignition of the
electrode when doing repetitive arc starts.
Adaptive Hot Start automatically uses a larg-
er hot start current when the electrode is
cool and a smaller hot start current when the
electrode is hot. The default setting is
disabled.
