7. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Fitting leak
Drain saddle leak

Cause
Tube is not joined tightly
Drain saddle is not installed

and off and will not stop

Water supply pressure too high
Surges in feed water pressure
just above low pressure switch
setting
Feed valve or main shutoff valve
is closed
Defective low pressure switch
High pressure switch is
Defective high pressure switch
Pump overrun protection has
been triggered
High pressure switch failure
Solenoid valve failure
Solution
Remove and rejoin the tube
Reinstall drain saddle as described in
paragraph 3.3 in this manual
Replace CF filter
Measure permeate flow rate by opening
the faucet. Use a measuring cup to
check if the time it takes to produce 1 L
drinking water is 40 seconds.
If it took twice as long or more to
produce 1 liter of water, the membrane
may need to be replaced
Straighten the tube
If necessary, install a pressure regulator
or refer to a plumber. Contact the
service center
Eliminate pressure surges. Check
supply water piping for clogs and other
obstructions and eliminate if present
Open all valves on supply water pipes.
Check for clogs/ obstruction
Low pressure switch defective Replace
the switch. Check the contact group
Low pressure switch defective Replace
the switch. Check the contact group
Disconnect and reconnect the electrical
connection
Replace high pressure switch. Verify
proper electrical contact
Replace the solenoid valve
