Removing the Protective Vinyl
from the Filter
Remove the fixing tape and the protective vinyl
from the filter before using the filter.
1 Based on the front of the product, hold and
gently pull both sides of the air inlet (cover)
to separate it.
• The side with the LG logo at the center
of the product is the front of the product.
Cover
Remove the filter and its protective vinyl.

• When removing the packaged filter,
separate it from the protective vinyl.
Install the filter into the product.

• Make sure that the side with the filter
handle is facing upward.
4 Insert the fixing part on both sides at the
bottom of the cover into the fixing groove in
the bottom of the product, and then close
the cover.
CAUTION
• Be sure to remove the protective vinyl from
the filter before using the product.
• When installing the filter, pay attention to the
direction of the filter.
– Failure to do so may cause malfunction or
product failure.
– The part with the filter handle is the top
side.
