BASIC SETTINGS AND FUNCTIONS

1. Insert the microSD card as indicated on the camera.
   • Use branded U3 class cards with a capacity of up to 256 GB.
   • Only remove the card when the camera is turned off.
   • The first time you use the card, format it directly in the camera itself and repeat the formatting at least once a month.
     
2. Plug the adapter into the car charger and connect it to the dashcam using the USB cable.
   • The camera is intended for operation only when connected to a power source.
   • Instead of a battery, the camera contains a supercapacitor, which has several times longer life.
     

3. The dashcam turns on automatically and starts recording.
   • For some vehicles, it is necessary to turn the ignition key first.
     
4. Before attaching the holder to the windscreen, set the basic settings of the camera.
   

PLACEMENT ON THE WINDSCREEN

1. The ideal place to mount the dashcam is the space between the windscreen and the rearview mirror, so that it does not obstruct the driver's view.
   • When installing, make sure that the cable does not interfere with safety features in the car such as an airbag.
     
2. Make sure that the glass is clean and dry at the attachment point.
   • The ideal temperature for adhesion is 20°C - 40°C.
     
3. Remove the film from the 3M adhesive pad on the camera mount.
   
4. Press the 3M adhesive pad onto the glass and hold for a while.
   • To make it easier to remove the mount, you can stick an electrostatic sticker between the 3M adhesive pad and the windscreen.
   • Finally, adjust the direction of the lens so that part of the bonnet is visible in the frame.

PARKSHIELD FUNCTION (Advanced parking mode)

• The camera must be constantly powered to use the ParkShield function.
• ParkShield (how the function switches on)
  • Manual - needs to be switched on/off each time by pressing .
  • G-senzor - turns on automatically when stationary for 5 minutes. When started, the camera switches to standard recording.
  • Hardwire kit - turns on automatically when ignition is off. Requires connection of optional TrueCam Hardwire Kit.
• ParkShield mode (how the function records and starts recording)
  • Timelapse - the camera constantly records timelapse video.
  • G-sensor - triggers 20s of video recording when an impact is detected.
  • Motion - triggers 20s of video recording when motion is detected in front of the lens.
• ParkShield time (how long the function is on)
  • With a standard adapter, a maximum of 12 hours can be set.
  • After connecting the camera to the optional TrueCam Hardwire Kit, other options will be unlocked (this prevents the car battery from discharging).
