Auto Talk

Handset
The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer calls by simply lifting the cordless
handset off the charger without pressing [
feature ON. The factory preset is OFF.

Press [CONF/FUNCTION].

Press [ ] at "Telephone".

Scroll to "Initial setting" by pressing
[ ] or [ ], then press [ ].

Scroll to "Auto talk" by pressing [ ] or [ ],
then press [ ].

Select "On" or "Off" by pressing [ ] or [ ].

• In order to view Caller ID information after you lift up the cordless handset to
answer a call, leave the Auto Talk feature OFF.

LCD Contrast

You can select the LCD contrast (6 levels) on the base unit and the cordless
handset separately. The factory preset is "level 3".

Base unit: Press [FUNCTION/EDIT].
Cordless handset: Press [CONF/FUNCTION]

Press [ ] at "Telephone".

Scroll to "Initial setting" by pressing
[ ] or [ ], then press [ ].

Press [ ] at "LCD contrast".

Select the desired contrast by pressing [ ] or
[ ].
• The contrast will change.
• The number of steps indicates the contrast level.
