- Friction coefficient µ = 0.15
- To obtain good friction between the mating surfaces, clean and degrease
the surfaces thoroughly. Keep the surfaces completely dry.
- Apply Loctite No. 243 to the threads of bolts.
- Steel or cast iron is preferred for the female thread.
- 12.9 quality screws.

5.7.2 Assembly of the Flexspline (FS)

First lubricate the Flexspline in accordance with section 5.5. Then assemble the Flexspline considering table 43.1 and table 44.2.
Thereby, place the EKagrip® gasket that is delivered together with the component set, between Flexspline bottom and output
element, see 5.6.
For oil lubrication and operating position "Wave Generator above" it must be considered that the oil is not allowed to collect inside
the Flexspline.
