Serial Motor
Troubleshoo ng
Is ~12VDC measured
from terminals 1 (12V)
and 3 (GND) at the
IFC?
Is 120 VAC measured at
the line voltage connector
at the motor? (5 pin
NO
connector terminals 4 and
5)
YES
Remove the serial
motor wiring
harness at the IFC.
Apply 24 VAC to
wires 3 & 4.
Does motor run?
NO
YES
Replace IFC. Check
opera on
#4 = WHITE wire, connects to TX
#3 = BLACK wire, connects to GND
Correct, replace wiring.
Check opera on

Replace motor.
