Layout Lighting Solution – Software and Configuration
It takes literally "no time" to start the 5 second fade to the Day preset, so we need to add
a time delay, or "Delay for Time" as shown below. There are cases where you might
want to start a 30 second fade, then wait for 5 seconds, and start another 30 second fade.
An example of this is a "Rolling Sunset" that moves from Scene to Scene using one
Sequence to cause all the actions.
Here we have selected Step-3 in the Sequence, used the Step Action pull-down to select
"Delay for Time" then filled in the time of 5 seconds.
In the same manner, go ahead and create a few more steps with fades and delays as seen
in the above "Sequence Steps" list.
Since we didn't ask our Sequence to wait for anything, it is already running.
If not already powered, provide power to the PNET DC Power Controllers now.
You should see the PNET dimmers fading up and down as the Test Scene Sequence
executes.
To enhance this Sequence, let's add a trigger event that starts this Sequence.
Since we have 4 push-buttons locally on our Layout Lighting Solution, let's ask the
sequence to wait for a button press.
