Configuring The Internal Ethernet Adapter For Novell
CAUTION
If you are using a configuration file and you have changed the
name of the Internal Ethernet Adapter, you must change the name
of the directory containing this file.
To set up the unit as an RPRINTER in a pre-NetWare 4 environment,
follow the procedure outlined in
Table 12. RPRINTER Setup (Pre-NetWare 4)
Step
1.
Log in to Novell as supervisor.
2.
Enter PCONSOLE.
3.
Select PRINT QUEUE INFORMATION.
4.
Press <Insert> to add a queue.
5.
Type in this new name in any format
you like and press <Enter>.
6.
Press <Escape>.
7.
Select PRINT SERVER
INFORMATION.
8.
Select one of the print servers and
press <Enter>.
9.
Select PRINTER CONFIGURATION.
10.
Select or create a printer name which
you want to install as a remote printer
and press <Enter>.
11.
Put the cursor on the Type field and
press <Enter>.
12.
Select REMOTE OTHER/UNKNOWN.
13.
Ignore the other fields and press
<Escape> to save these changes.

Gives you supervisor rights.

List of currently defined queues comes
up.
Asks for new queue's name.
New queue is added to list.
Returns to PCONSOLE's Main Menu.
A list of existing print servers displays.
Display's PRINT SERVER
INFORMATION menu.
Displays a list of printers associated
with the print server.
PRINTER N CONFIGURATION
window displays where N equals the
selected printer.
A list of options comes up.
This displays in the Type field.
Takes you back to the list printers.
