About this product
The Flex Active Frames from Steelcase is subject to
continuous quality control during manufacture and dis-
tribution. This ensures fault-free functionality.
Steelcase applies a quality management system that meets
the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001.
Flex Active Frames is GS-qualified.

1.1 Intended use

Flex Active Frames are designed exclusively as furniture for
commercial use (e.g. offices) and for use in publically
accessible interior spaces (e.g. cultural and educational
facilities). Any other use, or use beyond the specified intended
use is considered to be improper.

Intended use also includes following all instructions
in the Quick Reference Guide.

1.1.1 Foreseeable misuse

Improper use of the product can result in dangers to life and
limb as well as property damage. For this reason, improper use
is prohibited. In the event of improper use, Steelcase assumes
no liability for any damage that could occur and does not
guarantee that the components will function properly.
Possible improper use includes:

Use as a climbing aid.
Use as permanent placement surface for objects with
a total weight greater than the permissible load
capacity per shelf (see Technical data on page 6).
