About this product

The Solo Sit-to-Stand Desk office furniture
product line by Steelcase is subject to continuous
quality control during manufacture and distribution.
This ensures fault-free functionality.
The product has been designed and manufactured in
accordance with the state of the technology (in
Germany at the time of design) and recognised
safety regulations; nevertheless, hazards can occur.
Please follow the respective safety instructions!
Malfunctions that could impair safety must be
eliminated immediately. We reserve the right to
make technical changes to the products for technical
reasons.
Steelcase applies a quality management system that
meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001.
The Solo Sit-to-Stand Desk with the Memory
control panel has the CE marking.
The electric height adjustment unit type plates are
located on the power lift housing, on the columns,
and under the desktop near the control panel.

1.1 Intended use

The Solo Sit-to-Stand Desk is exclusively designed
to be used as office furniture for both private and
commercial use. Any other use or use beyond the
specified intended use is considered improper use.
Intended use also includes following all
instructions in the user guide.

1.1.1 Foreseeable misuse

Improper use of the product can result in danger to
life and limb as well as property damage. For this
reason, improper use is prohibited. In the event of
improper use, Steelcase assumes no liability for any
damage that could occur and does not guarantee
that the components will function properly.
Possible improper use includes:
Lifting loads.
Use as a climbing aid.
Use for the permanent storage of objects with a
total weight exceeding 75 kg.
Outdoor use.
Use in damp rooms.

1.1.2 Users with limitations

Risk of injury or damage to the desk!
This desk can be used by children 8
years of age and older, as well as by
persons with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, if they are
supervised, or have been instructed in
the safe use of the desk, and
understand the dangers associated with
using the desk.
Children are not allowed to play with the
device.
Children are not allowed to carry out
cleaning tasks or user's maintenance
tasks.
Unsupervised use of the desk by
children
can cause serious injury and death.
Remove and secure the mains cable
when the desk is not in use.
