Maintenance operations must only be done by a qualified person.

1. Filter replacement

Replace the filter according to the chosen recurrence. The factory setting implies a replacement every 6
months.
Before installing the new filter and after every replacement, rinse the new filter.
DO NOT DRAIN the filter through the distributions. This may cause damage to the sole-
noid valves. The filter must be rinsed with a draining to an external container.
Cut off water inlet.
Press on the distribution buttons to remove the remaining pressure in the water circuit.
Disconnect the power cord.
Disconnect the 2 filter's end pieces.
Rinse the filter in an external container letting the water run until it's clear (around 5 litres).
Once the rinse is over, reconnect the filter as it's indicated during the installation.
Reconnect the water cooler power cord and water inlet.

RESET PROCEDURE

Press the filter's RESET button on the circuit board for 5 seconds (figure 10).
The filter's indicator (Figure 11) light up after 3 seconds, then, the UV indicator (Figure 12) light up.
Release the button to validate the Reset.
The filter's indicator flash to show the Reset has been done.
2. WATER HEATING DESCALING
We recommend a discaling at least once a year - and more according to water hardness -
to guarantee your device longevity.
Press on the water heater switch at the back of the device to the 0 position and run 2L of water by pressing
the «Hot water» button, to cool down water.
ATTENTION :
this operation is essential to avoid any risks of burn.
Cut off water inlet and press on the distribution buttons to remove the pressure in the circuit.
Disconnect the water cooler.
Open the cover by unscrewing the screws on the sides of the cover.
Connect the 1/4 blue pipe on the connector of water heater water inlet.
Take the Filtropure® measuring cap and fill it with Purical descaling solution.
Connect the measuring cap to the 1/4 blue pipe. Use another piece of tubing 1/4 to connect it from the
measuring cap to the water inlet.
Run 1L of hot water in order to circulate the descaling solution in the circuit and water heater.
Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes depending on the hardness of water.
Then rinse by running 5L of hot water.
Disassemble the measuring cap and the associated pipes and reconnect water inlet.
Press again on the water heater switch to the I position.
3. Disinfection of water circuit
Cut off water inlet and press on the distribution buttons to remove pressure in the circuit. For sparkling
versions : you will have to empty 1L extra water with the «Sparkling water» button to completely replace the
water of the carbonator.
Disconnect the power cord.
Disconnect the filter.
Connect the measuring cap on the filter location.
