6.3 Setting up a heat pump connection

1. Enter the Unit ID.
Each heat pump has a unique
Unit ID. Either type in the ID or
scan the heat pump's QR code
with a camera. The ID is on the
heat pump's front panel.
4. Connect EasyAce to the heat
pump's Wi-Fi network.
● If you selected Cloud
connection as the connection
type, go directly to step 5.
Exit the app, and connect your
mobile device to the heat pump's
Wi-Fi network.
● Connect your device exactly
as you would connect to any
other Wi-Fi network. See
section Connecting a mobile
device to the data hub's Wi-Fi
network.
● The name and password for
the Wi-Fi network are on the
unit's front panel.
7. Skip by tapping Continue.
This screen is not shown when
using a Cloud connection.

Local connection

2. Read the Terms of Service.
Read the Terms of Service. Return
by tapping the top left or right
corner.
5. Select the connection type.
If you select Cloud connection
or Local & Cloud, the heat pump
needs to be connected to the
internet.
8. Enter the Connection ID.
The Connection ID is retrieved
automatically. Tap Continue.
● This screen is not shown
when using a Local
connection.
The wireless touch screen delivered with the unit comes with the
connection already established. The wireless touch screen uses a local
connection.
3. Accept the Terms of Service.
If you do not accept the Terms of
Service, you won't be able to use
the heat pump with your device.
6. Give the password.
The password is on the unit's front
panel.
9. Name your heat pump.
Tap Continue. The connection
between your device and the heat
pump has now been established.
