7 Reinstall the tank fittings.
8 Install the filler assembly.
9 Reinstall the drain plug (1) on the bottom of the
tank with a new gasket.
IMPORTANT!
In order to avoid leakage the new gasket must be
of a material that can withstand the AdBlue/DEF
solution; the genuine Volvo gasket fulfills this
requirement.
10 Tighten the drain plug.
15-liter tank – 30 Nm
20/50-liter tank – 3 Nm
11 Fill the tank with AdBlue/DEF solution; refer to
Filling AdBlue®/DEF , page 81. Install the filler
cap.
