OWER NPUT
The ArgentDCP 16 uses a 24V 2A Lump-in-Line PSU module to provide DC power.
This unregulated DC is fed into the unit via the DC Input port. The DC input connector
on the ArgentDCP 16 is GREEN as is the corresponding 2.5mm Jack connector on the
Lump-in-Line PSU module.
This port is labelled:
LEDs
Unit Status Green indicates unit has powered up correctly and is ready for
operation.
Red indicates unit has failed to reach its operational state. Further
investigation/action will be required to ascertain why the unit has
failed to reach it operational state. If this problem persists you should
call your supplier or maintainer.

XPANSION ORT
The ArgentDCP 16 has one Expansion port. This is located on the rear of the unit and is
labelled as follows:
The Expansion port is used to connect the ArgentDCP 16 to any main Argent system unit
Expansion socket.
When combined with the Argent range of products, the ArgentDCP 16 provides the user
with a comprehensive range of telephony services.
The ArgentDCP 16 is supplied with an Expansion Interconnect cable that MUST be used
to connect the ArgentDCP 16 to the main Argent system unit expansion port.
