1.1 Introduction

This document is designed to provide Supermicro switch users with the information required
to configure the basic functionalities on the switch through CLI commands.
Note: Most of the content in this manual applies to the SSE-G3748 series of switches.

1.2 Overview

The SSE-G3748 series switch is an Out-of-Band (OOB) switch with forty-eight 1G RJ45 ports,
six SFP28 25G ports, one 1G RJ45 100/1000Base-T management port, one RJ45 serial
console port, and one USB Type A storage port in a fixed configuration. The SSE-G3748 series
enables the aggregation of high density 1RU rack servers, providing cost-effective network
infrastructure solutions in data center and enterprise network. The SSE-G3748 series switch
is an extremely compact 1RU form factor that increases the network radix for high density
switching.

Operating System
Supermicro provides user-friendly enhancements to the OS that suits to the various data
center and Enterprise applications.

1.3 Features

The SSE-G3748 series Ethernet switches offer the following features:
