8-21. Testing the System

Basic Test
W hen in Satellite mode, diagnoses essential system components of your DIRECTV
Receiver. Once the Basic System Test is done, your HD receiver's status w ill be displayed. If
any problems are detected, a short message w ill be displayed.
To test basic items in the HD Receiver :
1. Press the M ENU button on the Remote Control to display the on-screen menu.
2. Scroll dow n using "
