Audio
- Programming sound levels may vary due to broadcast. Dolby Digital broad-
casts in general have a much low er volume level than regular broadcasts.
- Local programming to commercials also sometimes changes the audio format, ie.
from dolby 5.1 to 2.0 or L-R. This causes the receiver/ amp to have to adjust, and
there can be audio drops while the amp recognizes the new format.
- Confirm your current channel signal strength (see section 8-21) is stable and
strong enough. Poor or fluctuating reception may cause audio dropouts.
- Press the SIGNAL button on the remote control, the physical channel
number w ill be show n.
- Press the INFO button on the remote control, the logical channel number
w ill be show n in the channel banner.
- If you receive more than one station w ith the same channel number
(such as channel 8 from satellite and channel 8 from over-the-air) enter-
ing " 8" the first time w ill tune to satellite channel 8, entering " 8" a sec-
ond time w ill tune to analog channel 8, and so on.
