CAPT (Canon Advanced Printing Technology) Software, USB Class Driver
The CAPT (Canon Advanced Printing Technology) software enables your machine to print. Be sure to install it on your
computer.
USB class driver is a software utility for printing using USB port. Install USB class driver if you plan to connect the machine to
your computer using USB cable.
NetSpot Device Installer
NetSpot Device Installer is a software utility for connecting the machine to network. Refer to
NetSpot_Device_Installer\Windows\Readme_Englisch.html on the attached CD-ROM for details about NetSpot Device
Installer.
n n n n CD-ROM Menu
If your computer is running Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003, you can begin installation of the
software from the CD-ROM Menu.
After you set the attached CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your computer, the following CD-ROM Menu is displayed
automatically.
(The shown screen is for Windows 98)
• If the CD-ROM Menu does not appear automatically, choose Run At from the Start Menu → type D:\AUTORUN.EXE (if your
CD-ROM drive is drive D:) in the command line → click OK.
