Quick Guide for Making Copies

This section is a quick guide for making copies.
• For details on making copies using the various functions, → Reference Guide.

Press COPY to set Copy Mode.
• For the iR1510/iR1530 models, this operation is not required.

Prepare the document and place it on the platen glass or load it face down
in the ADF. (→ Reference Guide)

Set copy features if you wish.
• To set the copy quantity, press the numeric keys.
• To select the paper feeding location (paper drawer or stack bypass), press Paper
Select.
• To enlarge or reduce copies, press Enlarge/Reduce.
• To set the image quality, press Image Quality.
• To set the copy exposure, press Exposure.

Press Start to begin copying.
Quick Guide for Sending Faxes
This section is a quick guide for sending faxes.
• Before sending faxes, you need to register the sender information, date and time. → Fax Guide.
• For details on sending faxes using the various functions, → Fax Guide.

Press FAX to set Fax Mode.

Prepare the document and load it face down in the ADF. (→ Reference
Guide)

Set fax features if you wish.
• To adjust the resolution, press FAX Resolution.

Dial the other party's fax number by using the numeric keys.

Press Start to begin scanning for sending faxes. After the documents are
scanned and stored in memory, the machine begins dialling the fax
number.
