If the propeller continues to rotate during flight by windmilling,
but the speed is not sufficient to start the engine, the electric
starter can be used. It is not required to wait until the propeller
stops rotating.
Reduce the engine speed. Any exceeding of the max. admissi-
ble engine speed must be entered by the pilot into logbook,
stating the exact time and duration of engine over speed.

• Any exceeding of the max. admissible cylinder head temper-
ature must be entered by the pilot into the logbook, stating
duration and extent of over-temperature condition.
• Carry out an unscheduled maintenance check according to
Maintenance Manual Line (MML) chapter 05-50-00.
