WARNING
Risk of injury!
■ Before cleaning the exhaust hood or
changing the fi lter, pull out the mains
plug. If the mains plug is diffi cult to
access, switch off or pull out the cor-
responding fuse.
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
or incorrect maintenance can result in
grease residue catching fi re.
■ Grease residue on the exhaust hood
or in the grease fi lters can catch fi re
if exposed to high temperatures. For
this reason, clean the surfaces of the
exhaust hood and grease fi lters regu-
larly.

Cleaning the housing

NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
■ Do not use any sharp objects or scou-
ring powders, as these can scratch
the surface.
We recommend cleaning the surfaces of the
exhaust hood after every use.
• Wipe the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth
and a little dishwashing detergent.
• Clean glass surfaces with standard glass
cleaner.
Care and maintenance

Cleaning the grease filters

NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
■ Handle the grease fi lters carefully to
avoid bending or creasing the fi ne
mesh.
■ Only reinsert the grease fi lters after
cleaning once they are fully dry.
Clean the grease filters once a month – or
more frequently if necessary – in the dishwas-
her (up to 60 °C), or soak in lukewarm water
with detergent.
1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the
corresponding circuit.

2. Push back the lock (9) on the grease fil-
ters (10) and carefully remove the grease
filters.
3. Wash the grease filters in a dishwasher or
in the sink like ordinary dishware.
4. Re-insert the grease filters once they are
completely dry. To do this, insert the grea-
se filters in the recess below.
5. Push the lock back, press the grease fil-
ters upwards and release the lock. The
grease filters will snap into place.
6. Switch the power back on.
