Disconnect the mains plug before

cleaning the exhaust hood, changing
fi lters or replacing halogen bulbs. If
the mains plug is diffi cult to access,
switch off the corresponding fuse or
pull it out.
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
or incorrect maintenance can result in
grease residue catching fi re.
Grease residue on the exhaust hood

or in the grease fi lters can catch fi re
if exposed to high temperatures. For
this reason, clean the surfaces of the
exhaust hood and grease fi lters reg-
ularly.
Cleaning the housing

Do not use any sharp objects or scour-

ing powders, as these can scratch the
surface.
We recommend cleaning the surfaces of the
exhaust hood after every use.
• Wipe the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth
and a little dishwashing detergent.
• Clean glass surfaces with standard glass
cleaner.
Cleaning the grease filters
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Handle the grease fi lters carefully to

avoid bending or creasing the fi ne
mesh.
Only reinsert the grease fi lters once
■
they are completely dry.
Clean grease filters once a month – or more
frequently if necessary – in the dishwasher
(up to 60 °C), or soak in lukewarm water with
detergent.
1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the
corresponding circuit.

2. Push the locks (13) on the grease fil-
ter (14) to the left and carefully remove
the grease filter from below.
3. Wash the grease filters (14) in a dish-
washer or in the sink like ordinary dish-
ware.
4. Once the grease filter is completely dry,
insert it into the recess on the left.
5. Push the locks (13) to the left, push the
grease filter (14) upwards and release
the locks.
6. Switch the power back on.
