CAUTION
Driver Attention Warning system
may not provide alerts in the fol -
lowing situations:
The lane detection performance is
limited. (For more information,
refer to "Lane Keeping Assist
(LKA) (if equipped)" on page 5-
79.)
The vehicle is erratically driven or
is abruptly turned for obstacle
avoidance (e.g. construction area,
other vehicles, fallen objects,
bumpy road).
Forward drivability of the vehicle
is severely undermined (possibly
due to wide variation in tire pres -
sures, uneven tire wear-out, toe-
in/toe-out alignment).
The vehicle drives on a curvy road.
The vehicle drives on a bumpy
road.
The vehicle drives through a
windy area.
The vehicle is controlled by the
following driver assistance sys -
tems:
- Forward Collision-Avoidance
Assist
- Lane Keeping Assist
- Smart Cruise Control

Cruise Control (CC) (if equipped)
Cruise Control allows you to pro -
gram the vehicle to maintain a con -
stant speed without pressing the
accelerator pedal.
This function is designed to function
above approximately 20 mph (30
km/h).
If Cruise Control is left on, (CRUISE
indicator light in the instrument
cluster illuminated) Cruise Control
can be switched on accidentally.
Keep Cruise Control off (CRUISE
indicator light OFF) when is not in
use, to avoid inadvertently setting
a speed.
Use Cruise Control only when
traveling on open highways in
good weather.
Do not use Cruise Control when it
may not be safe to keep the car
at a constant speed, for instance,
driving in heavy or varying traffic,
or on slippery (rainy, icy or snow-
covered) or winding roads or over
6% uphill or down-hill roads.
Pay particular attention to the
driving conditions whenever using
Cruise Control.
NOTICE
During normal Cruise Control opera -
tion, when the SET switch is acti -
vated or reactivated after applying
the brakes, Cruise Control will ener -
