PUC VERSIONS

The Customer Service Menu gives the opportunity to customise and optimise
features in the product that normally require the aid from the dealer or service
centre.
It may also be used to give the Service Centre the basic information about the
product directly on screen and not by reading a label on the back of the product.
The Customer Service Menu provides the choices between different read outs,
adjustment possibilities or settings.
Settings marked in bold writing are factory default values.
Information about the type, item and serial number as well as the current option
setting and IR address are displayed at the bottom as greyed out lines. These
values cannot be changed via the menu.
An overview of the Customer Service Menu is seen on page
- Press the MENU button on the remote control to get into the 'Setup Menu', and
then press RED button and within 3 seconds press the Centre button.
- Press BACK on Beo6/Beo4 (type 1710 or newer; set in Mode 1) to leave the
Customer Service Menu (just like the ordinary menu operation), and the product
returns to its normal state.
This submenu shows the SW version for the different processors in the system.
These values are read-only and cannot be modified via the menu.
The SVN REVISION and BBE REVISION values identify the SW build in the product.
The ABOUT menu is showing a text string describing the Open Source licenses.
This submenu shows the versions for the different decoder files (although only for
those configured in the system). These values are read-only and cannot be
modified through the menu. If there are no PUC DEC files flashed in the product,
the PUC VER item is not accessible (dimmed out).
Devices configured on an HDMI Matrix are shown in a separate section.
Note: Always ensure to update the PUC tables to the newest version!
