The only situation where "picture adjustment" is needed is when an LCD is replaced.
The serial number of the new LCD is entered into the ServiceTool.
Then the instructions in the ServiceTool are followed. The ServiceTool will
automatically ensure that the data saved for the LCD are loaded into the media
processor for the optimal picture quality possible.
The only situation where "speaker adjustment" is needed is when a speaker unit is
replaced.
The "dB" value for the new speaker unit, found on the back side of the
loudspeaker, is entered into the ServiceTool for the speaker position dealt with.
Then the instructions in the ServiceTool are followed. The ServiceTool will
automatically ensure that the data saved for the loudspeaker are loaded into the
sound processor for the optimal sound quality possible.
- Disconnect the product from the Mains supply when connecting to the ServiceTool.
- Update to newest version of SW and check if the fault situation still occurs.
- Follow the instructions described in the ServiceTool.
ServiceTool contains complete information concerning:
- How to connect ServiceTool to the product.
- List of functions handled by ServiceTool.
- Instructions for using the functions.
- Saving files.
- It is possible to save text files with information and values from the SERVICE MENU.
The files will be saved in a default folder where ServiceTool is installed.
Follow instructions in ServiceTool step by step, both for direct connection via
Ethernet cable and wireless connection via router.
System Info is presented for the product regarding the following areas (read
instructions carefully):
Product ID, Counters, Software, Hardware, Pin Code Protection, Logging.
The following selectable information can be reported (read instructions carefully):
- Product ID, Software Information, Hardware Information, Network Information,
Counters, Error Log and Configuration.
