LEGACY and Command Control Remote

Shut down and Start up commands
L
ike a LEGACY locomotive, you can shut down the VISION Auxiliary Water Tender to turn off the
sounds. Refer to pages 7 through 11 for LEGACY and 12-15 for TMCC.
To restart after shut down:
As illustrated in Figure 1, press ENG and 1 (if you have not already programmed
the tender a different ID #) to address the tender with your LEGACY CAB-2, CAB-
1L, or CAB-1 Remote Controller.

Pre-run Maintenance Scene
T
he VISION Auxiliary Water Tender provides realistic train maintenance crew sounds to bring your
steam locomotive to life! When in the stopped position, pressing the corresponding button on the
remote (arrow down button on the CAB-2), will activate the pre-run maintenance dialog sounds. This
will play dialog and background sounds. It is recommended to play these sounds before your train
heads out for duty.
Pressing the button once will play one dialog scene. Holding the button down will cause the scene
to continually play, cycling through the variety of sounds.
When the Min/Max swtich is in the Max position, your VISION Auxiliary Water Tender also

goes through these scenes normally. In the Min position, you will hear the background
sounds, but the dialog will be muted.
Post-run Maintenance Scene

he VISION Auxiliary Water Tender provides realistic train maintenance crew sounds to bring your
steam locomotive to life! When in the stopped position, pressing the corresponding button on the
remote (arrow up button on the CAB-2), will activate the post-run maintenance dialog sounds. This
will play dialog and background sounds. It is recommended to play these sounds after your train has
completed its run.
Pressing the button once will play one dialog scene. Holding the button down will cause the scene
to continually play, cycling through the variety of sounds.
