    3. Increase track power (no more than 18 volts AC). If a circuit breaker trips when you turn on the Lionel power supply, check the wheels of your baggage car to make sure they are all securely on the track. Check to make sure the track is free of all metals that may cause a short circuit.

    If you have more than one VISION baggage car, for best results set them all to unique ID’s. You may also choose to set them all to the same ID. In this case, set one baggage car’s min/max switch to the MAX position (see page 4) and all others to MIN.

  • Page 9 To move your locomotive, select the Train by its ID number and use the throttle, boost, and brake to run it. Apply your CAB-2 Train brake and hear the brakes operating on your VISION baggage car. For more prototypical action, stopping with the train brake applied (in any amount) will keep your roll- ing stock consist stretched-out and prevents stress on the coupler when starting.

    A train may include multiple locos or baggage cars. Assign the head-end locomotive to the Train: 1. Be sure the VISION baggage car and the locomotive are on the track, powered up and operational. 2. Press the TR button and press two digits (from 01-99). This two-digit number will be the ID of your new train.

    Sound System Operations Sounds while in motion hen your baggage car is running on the track, you will hear 3 different types of sounds in the background. First, there are muffled bumping and banging sounds as the car starts, stops, or changes speed.

    Maintenancing your VISION Baggage Car Uncoupling your VISION Baggage Car our baggage car is equipped with a Kinematic coupler system which allows the coupler to extend when the train enters a curve. This provides a closer car spacing on straight track.

    LED features a super capacitor that keeps the illumination alive when the car rolls over a section of dirty track or the power is turned off. In the event you need to replace an LED please contact a Lionel Factory Trained Authorized Service Station or Lionel Customer Service. Note! Because the capacitor must be charged at initial power up, your LED lighting will not be at full intensity immediately upon powering your train.

In the event the defective product cannot be repaired, and a suitable replacement is not available, Lionel will offer to replace the product with a comparable model (determined by Lionel LLC), if available.
