SU2
Assembly Instructions
TOOLS REQUIRED: Phillips Head screwdriver
Note: you can execute this process as below with the aid of a step ladder, or simply follow the
process while laying the umbrella on a flat surface.
Step 1:
Unpack both your SU2 Frame and SU2 Canopy, including removing all protective wrap on the
frame.
Step 2:
Take your SU2 Canopy and unfold it. You will note it is folded inside out. Reach up inside it to
take hold of the peak-ring in the centre of the umbrella.
Step 3:
While holding the peak ring, lift the nearest edge of the canopy up and over the frame, while
placing the peak ring over the upper hub fitting (as shown below) and spreading the canopy down over
the frame. This turns the canopy so the correct side is facing out, and ready for fixing to the frame.
Step 4:
To secure the canopy on the frame, take the canopy cover cap and partly thread it (clockwise)
into the upper hub fitting (as shown below). Do not tighten at this point.

Step 5:
Move to the outer edge of the canopy and take hold of one of the double layered corners with
eyelets. Align this corner over one of the struts of the frame, ensuring the seam rising from that corner
runs upwards along the strut all the way to the hub (and is not twisted across multiple struts). You may
need to jostle the canopy slightly to achieve this.
Step 6:
Take one of the screws provided and a Phillips head screw driver and pull down on the double
edged corner, and use the screw provided to fix the eyeleted corner to the plastic fitting at the end of
the strut (as shown below).
Step 7:
Move around the umbrella one strut at a time repeating Step 6 for all the remaining 7
struts/canopy corners until all the canopy corners are fixed to the frame.
Step 8:
Now that the canopy is fully attached to the frame, thread the canopy cover cap till fully secure
by rotating clockwise till tight (as shown below).
