4.2 Master Removal Function
This function removes the selected IO-Link master from the tree.
Clicking the Delete button under the tree displays a confirmation dialog box and clicking the OK
button removes the selected IO-Link master from the tree.
Information
If an IO-Link device is selected in the tree, the Delete button will be grayed out.
4.3 Master Assignment Function
This function assigns the selected IO-Link master (in an offline state) to the actual IO-Link mas-
ter.
Clicking the connection icon of an IO-Link master in an offline state in the tree displays a dialog
box.
The dialog box displays IO-Link masters that are connected. Select an IO-Link master that you
want to assign.
By clicking the Assign button with the IO-Link master selected, you can reflect the settings of
the IO-Link master (that you set up offline) into the actual IO-Link master.
Information
The settings of IO-Link devices that you set up offline cannot be reflected by assignment process-
ing.
