Warranty and Liability

Poweo ® Urban hoists are guaranteed for five (5) years, except for the electronic components and the
actuator which are guaranteed for two (2) years and the batteries and straps which are guaranteed for
one (1) year.
•
Any intervention on the machine contrary to this manual will entirely void the guarantee.
•
Any abnormal use or non compliant usage will result in the cancellation of the guarantee.
•
Any modifications to the device will render the guarantee void.
•
Any technical intervention made by non qualified personnel or a non authorised distributor will
render the guarantee void.
Batteries that are not maintained in accordance with the maintenance procedure outlined in this user
manual will not be covered under warranty.
SCALEO Medical assumes no liability for any injury or harm and consequences thereof directly or
indirectly caused to operators, patients, or any third party in the following cases:
•
Non compliance with the instructions and recommendations provided in this User Manual.
•
Using un-adapted spare parts.
•
Assembling, adjusting and repairing carried out by non qualified personnel or a non authorised
distributor.
•
REGULAR PREVENTIVE AND ANNUAL MAINTENANCE IS NOT CARRIED OUT in accordance with
Annex B of the EN ISO 10535 standard, and the advice and instructions presented in this manual.

Life/Disposal

SCALEO hoists and medical accessories are at least 90% recyclable.
The end-of-life disposal of the device must be done respecting the recycling circuit and local applicable
regulations. This particularly concerns the electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE directives) and the
lead battery (B.A. directives).
