Hardware configuration

This section describes the hardware configurations and functions of the WA2200 series.
The four models of the WA2200 series have different radio frequencies (RFs) and structures.
Table 5 lists the protocols that each model supports and their chassis materials.

NOTE:
When the temperature is below –15°C, an outdoor AP starts the internal over-cold protection function,
and the power consumption increases 3 W to 5 W. When this happens, you must use an external PoE
module to supply power to the AP.
The WA2200 series APs have extraordinary radio frequency (RF) performance and provide
consummate service functions. With IP66 degree of protection, the outdoor models can be
directly deployed outdoors to simplify the installation. The models of the WA2200 series are
designed for application in various environments.

LEDs

The positions and identifications of LEDs on the panel vary by H3C model. For details about the
specific LEDs of indoor models, see Figure 31 and Table 6 For details about the LEDs on outdoor
models, see Table 6 Figure 32 Table 6 Figure 33 and Table 7
