1. GENERAL INFORMATION. CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase of your SEERS MEDICAL Orlando Patient Trolley. Wheel system WARNING! CASTORS MUST BE LOCKED PRIOR TO TREATMENT OF A PATIENT ON THE TROLLEY Castors Locked Directional Wheels activated Castors un-locked The Patient trolley is fitted with high quality large diameter (200mm – 8”) castors, allowing for easy transportation of the trolley.

c. Height and Tilt Adjustment of the Trolley WARNING! Ensure the pedal is not stood on with load bearing weight when mounting or dismounting the trolley. They are not to be used as a step. Abuse of the pedal could cause mechanical damage to the trolley lifting mechanism Height adjustment is controlled by the foot pedal (A) on the side of the patient trolley.

d. Altering the backrest angle WARNING! Ensure Patient is secure and not surprised by sudden backrest adjustment. Ensure patient entrapment will not occur when operating the backrest If the patient is on the trolley when adjusting the backrest, ensure the patients weight is not leaning on the backrest when adjusting.

e. Using the Trendelenburg Tilt function WARNING! Ensure the Patient is secure and not surprised by tilt adjustment. Ensure patient entrapment will not occur when using the tilt facility When adjusting the tilt angle of the patient, the carer will need to support the patient’s weight when counterbalanced on the trolley.

f. Using the Side Support Rails safely WARNING! Side rails on patient trolleys pose a potential entrapment hazard. Always use side rails on the patient trolley with caution. Ensure the Side Support Rails are Fully Engaged and locked into position prior to use. The x-ray facility has been designed to allow the cassette to be inserted from both sides or either end of the trolley k. Storage for belongings CAUTION! Ensure belongings are stored within the basket to not cause entrapment when the trolley is operated.

CLEANING & DECONTAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS WARNING! DO NOT SATURATE PRODUCT IF PRODUCT GETS SATURATED DURING CLEANING, THIS COULD ACCELERATE CORROSION, REDUCING PRODUCTS LENGTH OF SERVICE. Frequency of routine Patient Trolley Cleaning & Decontamination should be in accordance with local Infection Control Protocols General Cleaning 1.
MAINTENANCE CAUTION! Ensure the Trolley is in a suitable area for maintenance. Secure the Patient Trolley by locking the castors prior to carrying out maintenance A visual inspection should be carried out daily prior to use. Regular servicing should be carried out a minimum of every 12 months or more frequently if the couch is in constant use.
