The following figure shows the front view of the NetComm NB5580.
The LEDs on the front panel indicate the status of the unit.

Green
On when power is on.
Red
Lights up during system check when the power is
initially connected. If the Router is working properly,
the light should switch off after the diagnostic has been
completed.
Green
On when a successful 100Mbps connection is made
through the corresponding port.
Blinking when data is flowing through this port.
Yellow
On when a successful 10Mbps connection is made
through the corresponding port.
Blinking when data is flowing through this port.
