Periodic Message Notification; Message View Mode - NEC DT 2000 Owner's Manual

PERIODIC MESSAGE NOTIFICATION

Your DT2000 cellular phone continually monitors for any
unread messages you may have received and will provide
user notification as follows:
EMERGENCY MESSAGES
Your cellular phone scans for any unread emergency
messages every 30 seconds and if any are found the
following screen will be displayed:
NOTE: Pressing MEM key allows you to go to the
message view mode and the incoming message will be
displayed on the screen.
URGENT MESSAGES
Your cellular phone scans for any unread urgent
messages every 10 minutes and if any are found the
following screen will be displayed:
NOTE: Pressing MEM key allows you to go to the
message view mode and the incoming message will be
displayed on the screen.
NOTE: There will be no periodic message notification for
normal, bulk or voice mail messages.
The Message View Mode allows you to view the incoming
messages When this mode is entered, the display will show
the first message received in the order received.
