Symptom
No Power
Cycle does not commence when
start button is pressed (Fault
indicator flashes)
Heating slow or not apparent
Low Water Indicator (F004) stays
lit when correct water level is
achieved
Autoclave does not pressurise
Possible Cause
Power switched off at isolator
Circuit Breaker Tripped
Electrical Failure
Door is not closed properly
Micro-switch Failure
Controller incorrectly set
Circuit Breaker Tripped out
Heater(s) Failed
Heaters Over-furred
Water Reservoir overfilled
Fault in control circuit.
Fault in control circuit.
Low Water Conductivity i.e
Distilled water
Probe dirty, damaged or
removed
Wiring connections loose or
damaged
Vent button in open position
Freesteam time not completed
(if option is selected)
Air purge valve failure
Vent Valve stuck open
Safety Valve stuck open
Door incorrectly closed

Possible Solution
Check
Reset and check cause
Call Engineer
Open & Re-close.
Check Micro-switches
Check setting & reset if necessary
Check Circuit Breaker position.
Check cause of trip & reset if
necessary.
Check & Replace as necessary.
Check Low Water Probes.
Check & replace as necessary.
Check Water Level. Remove water
if necessary.
Check all connections, output
board function & thermal cut-
out(s).
Check all connections & thermal
cut-out(s).
Add Tap Water
Visually check probe.
Clean/Replace as necessary
Check connections to probe and
main control board.
Check Vent Indicator
Check Cycle Progress Indicator
Display
Check and replace internal parts or
valve.
Check & Replace if necessary
Check for obstructions on lifting
handle.
Check door position and lid micro-
switch settings
