COMMISSIONING THE 770R

This section describes how to set up the Module so that it works
correctly for each mode. The instructions assume that you know
how to enter and leave programming, and how to use each of
the programming menus. There are detailed instructions for us-
ing individual menus in "Menu Command Reference".
Cooper Security Ltd. recommend that you carry out a radio site
survey before choosing a final site for the Module. You can use
the 790r Signal Strength Meter for this purpose, or see "Menu
Command Reference - Signal Strength Test (Menu 4)".

Teaching the Module Identity to a 7500r

Several modes work with the 7500r control unit. To make the
7500r learn the identity of the Module:
1.
Power up the Module and put it into the correct mode first,
then leave programming mode.
2.
On the 7500r enter Installer mode and select Other Devices
- WAM Menu - Add/Del WAM. Use the Up/Down keys to
choose a memory slot for the WAM and then press Select.
4.
Operate the Module's tamper switch.
5.
The 7500r learns the Module's identity. See "7500r Installa-
tion and Programming" for more details.
