▌Overview of suitability of the seats for attaching
i‑Size child restraint systems
i‑Size is a standardised securing system for spe-
cially designed child restraint systems.
° The symbol indicates seats suitable for
attaching an i‑Size child restraint system in
accordance with UN R129 (

in accordance with UN R44 as per the ISO-

page 61) or UN R129 as per

engaged and locked in place, this will be shown
on the instrument display.
Occupant safety
If the centre seat backrest is not engaged and
locked in place, the red lock verification indicator
will be visible.
& WARNING Risk of injury or death if the
permissible gross mass of the child and
child restraint system together is excee-
ded.
Too much load may be placed on the ISOFIX
or i‑Size child restraint systems and the child
may not be restrained correctly in the event of
an accident, for example.
If the child is secured in an ISOFIX or i-
