To do before the maintenance
Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 6 .
Use approved respiratory protection. The dust from
the product is dangerous to your health.

Do a check of the ON/OFF switch.
Do a check of the attachment points and the lock function for the handle.

Be careful when you adjust

Before you do
WARNING:
weight lock locks correctly when the weights
are put in the selected position.
1. Push in the weight lock (A) and move the weight to a
selected position (B) with the weight handle. Refer to
Weights on page 15 .

2. Release the weight lock to lock the weight in the
selected position.
Park the product on a level surface.
Stop the motor and disconnect the power plug to
prevent accidental start during maintenance.
Clean the area around the product from oil and dirt.
Remove unwanted objects.
Set out clear signs to give a warning to bystanders
that maintenance work is in progress.
Keep fire extinguishers, medical supplies and an
emergency phone near.
