Chargepoint Installation Completion
After Configuration
1. Once configuration is complete, the Host (owner) will need to install the chosen
provider's application to their smartphone.
2. Engage with the customer to install the appropriate application to their
smartphone (or similar device) from either the App Store for Apple devices or from
Google Play for Android devices.
The VendElectric application is also accessible on almost any device with a
web browser.

3. Discuss an appropriate maintenance plan with the chargepoint owner/operator
based on their anticipated usage, the guidance given in the maintenance section
of this manual, and any regulatory requirements in the geographical region of use.
NOTE: If the end user will not be using the VendElectric application they will need to use
an alternative service provider and the chargepoint will need to be configured as
appropriate to work with that provider's application.

Chargepoint is secured to the mounting location.
Chargepoint enclosure is free of debris.
Cables entering the chargepoint are secure.
2. Make sure the electrical installation is complete:
Incoming cables are connected to the relevant devices within the enclosure.
All electrical connection points are secure.
All required tests have been performed – in accordance with the current
legislation applicable in the geographical region of the installation.
Make sure the chargepoint has been installed in compliance with the current
Electrical Wiring Regulations (including recommended earthing arrangements).
3. Fit the fascia panel(s) to the enclosure and secure with the fixings removed at the
start of the procedure.
Fit the top of the fascia panel into the groove immediately below the lighting
head.
Ease the vertical edges of the panel into the joining strip that runs down each
side of the pedestal.
Lift the panel upwards a few millimetres to compress the seal in the groove
below the lighting head.
Align the panel fixing points at the bottom of the pedestal with the fixing points
in the chassis.
Insert and carefully tighten the fasteners removed at the start of the process to
secure the panels.
NOTE: Copper grease or a similar anti-seize compound may be applied to screw
threads to ensure ease of fastener removal in the future.
