Appendix C: Packing the scanner

This section discusses how to pack your scanner in case it is needed to transport from
one place to another.
Locking the ArtixScan 6000XY scanner
1. Power off your scanner.
2. At the back of your scanner, press the push-button switch to set the SCSI ID to 8.
3. Power up your scanner. Wait for 30 seconds, visually inspect the Status indicator;
this indicator should stays constantly green.
4. Press the Light button, in 5 seconds, the carriage will move to the locking position.
5. Insert the flat screwdriver into the screw socket on the 4 corners of the Top Cover,
turn the screwdriver 90° clockwisely.
