This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class A digital device, pursuant

congestion, and/or to convert between legacy 10BASE-T and 100BASE-FX

  • Page 7 INSTALLATION (continued) 100BASE-FX Full-Duplex Optical Loss Budget An 11dB loss budget (measured using a fiber optic power meter) is allowed per link of 100BASE-FX Full-Duplex cable. Standard grade fiber operating at 1350 nm has approximately 1dB – 2dB loss per 1000 meters of cable.
