3.9 Check for system leaks and vacuum

The vacuum is created by closing the shut-off valves of the unit and connecting the pressure gauge
manifold to the copper lines.
Open the gauge manifold and vacuum pump valves. Open all the solenoid valves in the circuit
(Only Multi Temp. Version).
Start the vacuum pump and maintain suction until it reaches 500 microns.
When reaching 500 microns, keep the suction for about an hour.
Close the vacuum pump valve, switch off the pump, checking that the gauge reading for the
vacuum pump does not exceed 2000 microns in the following thirty minutes. If vacuum level
exceeds 2000 microns after five minutes, a leak is present or additional evacuation time is
required.
Start the vacuum pump again and open the vacuum valve. Leave the pump running until it reaches
500 microns of pressure again.
Once it reaches 500 microns, close the vacuum pump valve and switch off the pump.
Open all the shut-off valves.
NOTE
The Shut-OFF Valves has the Red Sticker.
The oil line is already open.
The unit is ready to be start.
