Control-IQ Overview

Control-IQ technology is a feature of the t:slim X2 insulin pump that automatically
adjusts insulin delivery rates and amounts in response to CGM readings.
The t:slim X2 pump can be used with or without Control-IQ technology enabled.
The following sections describe how Control-IQ technology works and how it
responds to CGM values while the user is awake, sleeping, and exercising.
⚠ Precaution:
The user must continue to take boluses to cover food eaten or to correct a high
glucose value. Read all Control-IQ technology instructions before activating Control-IQ technology.
Note: The treatment values used by Control-IQ technology are not customizable.

Note: Before activating a Temp Rate, the user must turn off Control-IQ technology.

Note: The Insulin On Board Time Remaining is not displayed when Control-IQ technology is

enabled due to the variability of insulin delivery when automatically responding to CGM values.
The IOB units will always be displayed on the Home and Lock screens.
